This intensive 9 week training program is intended to accelerate players' skills by maximizing their touches and repetitions. Led by our core staff and top coaches, this program will focus on individual position work in a small group setting with like-skilled players in order to give players the personalized feedback they need to improve their skills.
Sessions are capped to keep the player to coach ratio small. Players will be added on a first-come-first-served basis. NNJ staff will inform parents of their players' training pod days and times.
Players who participate in summer training can forego attending club tryouts. Players must still register; however the fee is waived for STP participants.
For our 14-and-under age group, summer training extends into a continuation program in the fall.
NNJ's Summer Training Program is for those players who are looking to make a club team next season.
The Fall Training Program is the follow-up to the Summer Training Program for middle and elementary-school elite players. It can be done as a continuation of STP for a total of 18 weeks or on its own. This program also serves freshman and sophomores who want additional training during high school season.
