The Northern Nevada Volleyball League was established in 2022 in order to grow the sport of volleyball without the exorbitant cost of travel that is associated with club volleyball in Northern Nevada. Due to the geographic nature of our area, often times we resort to Northern California and beyond to participate in any type of competition. This leads to a lot of overnight stays and driving up costs for families. We feel it also prevents many of the smaller communities in developing club programs. With this in mind, we decided to form the Northern Nevada Volleyball League with all the tournaments taking place here and auxiliary facilities in the Reno/Sparks area with a 1 day format, generally lasting 5-6 hours.
